Festive menu and New Year at The George on The Strand

Following an extensive refurbishment The George Public House has re-opened its doors in time for Christmas and New Year festivities. The George is located at the meeting point of the Strand and Fleet Street, London, and is home to a new elegant and sophisticated restaurant on the first floor, named The Pig and Goose.
Head Chef Chris Hickey has created a four course festive menu, priced at £31 per person, which will be offered from 1st – 24th December.
On New Year’s Eve the menu, priced at £65 per person offers Champagne and canapés on arrival, as well as fois gras and chicken liver parfait, Angus beef wellington, pear and apple tatin. On Christmas Eve, the opening hours are 11.30am-9pm (7pm for The Pig & Goose) and for New Year’s Eve, The George is open from 11.30am-2am.
