Long Flint kindly sent us a selection of their bottled cocktail samples and one caught our eye in having Prosecco within the menu! The Negroni Sbagliato offers an easy to drink, not too strong (5.2% alcohol) with red berry fruit / blood orange flavours – The Prosecco is not overly evident so if this is the bubbly taste you are after in your cocktail then I suggest to top up your glass a little with some of the fizzy stuff!

The Negroni Sbagliato. Legend has it that a bartender in Milan (at the famed Bar Basso) was asked to make a Negroni for a customer but whilst reaching down for the gin, he was distracted by a beautiful women and instead topped up the Campari and Vermouth with Prosecco. Whoops. Handing over the new concoction with an Italian shrug of the shoulders, he declared the drink was a “Negroni Sbagliato”, which literally translates to ‘mistaken’, or ‘wrong’. To us, it’s so wrong that it’s right! We’re huge fans and are delighted to see it popping up on drinks menus across the city this summer.
