Inspired by co-founders Gary and Kathy Jordan’s wine estate in South Africa, High Timber’s cellar boasts some 25,000 bottles from around the world. These can be accompanied by delicacies from Head Chef Mircel McSween including biltong croquettes with peppadew ketchup, five spiced roast duck breast with pistachio yoghurt, 28-day matured high quality British steaks and the restaurant’s signature smoked salmon,
The ideal place to have a relaxing meal, High Timber is just a short stroll across the river from the newly refurbished Tate Modern and Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, the restaurant is perfect for a pre-museum visit or long and relaxed dinner afterwards. Never far from the action, the vibrant Southbank is a short walk away from the restaurant, where festivals and concerts run throughout the summer months.
