I’m not sure how many readers will agree that Champagne is something that should be served on the rocks as such, but this trend is certainly one that is growing so where there is a demand there will always be a ready supply!

Veuve Clicquot and Moet & Chandon are two well known brands to have recently released their ice version of Champagne with Rich and Imperial Ice respectively. On many party evenings I have seen these drinks appear with Champagne being poured in to fancy larger style glasses to accommodate plenty of ice and usually a slice of citrus fruits and random berries. The sweeter and more fruity taste these wines offer can be somewhat compared to Prosecco dare I say, less intense in taste and more about a refreshing drinking experience.

Now Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte have their own ice range with the Limited Edition Graphic Ice with two versions being the demi-sec and the demi-sec rosé.

Tasting Notes:

Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Graphic Ice: Floral and peachy on the nose. Taste is a creamy fizz sensation with hints of yellow stone fruits and citrus. Enjoyed with cubed ice and a slice of both lemon and lime.

Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Graphic Ice Rosé: Tempting aromas of black cherry and Summer berry fruits. Hints of raspberry on the palate with a smooth pleasing finish.
