Leicester, situated at the heart of the UK, is a vibrant town that’s seeing an influx of bars and restaurants opening recently – over 30 in the past year. Many of the new openings have taken over previously empty stores, bringing life back to some areas of the city.

Champagne Bar and Snug at The Case – visit

The Case is a restaurant taking up 4 floors and serving fresh, seasonal British food. If you venture downstairs, you’ll find the charmingly proportional and air-conditioned Snug. Sumptuous rich red leather booth seating, flagstone flooring and natural brick walls create a mood of discreet indulgence.

The House Champagne is Mandois, but they also have a great selection of vintage, non-vintage and rosé Champagnes from well-known names.

Mem-Saab Indian Fine Dining & Champagne Bar – visit

Close to Highcross shopping centre, Mem-Saab Champagne Bar & Piano Lounge offers a 4tranquil place to unwind with a glass of Champagne. The Champagne list is impressive, accommodating a large selection of Grand Marque houses with many styles served by the glass. Mem-Saab specialises in Indian fine dining, serving beautiful, fresh dishes.

Mr Bojangles Champagne Bar – visit

A fairly new addition to Leicester that has finally established itself in the city. The bar incorporates many spectacular eye opening features ranging from a white grand piano, cast iron spiralled stair case, infinity mirror ceilings and LED glass wall encompassing the mezzanine floor.

Sapori Italian Restaurant – visit

Situated in Anstey just out of Leicester, Sapori offers authentic, elegant Italian cuisine. The sparkling wine list is small, offering a Prosecco and some Champagnes, but it goes fantastically with the Italian food.

North Bar & Kitchen – visit

North bar & Kitchen serves traditonal and contemporary British & European dishes. The wine, Champagne and cocktails have been carefully selected to complement the food and staff are on hand to help. They offer a variety of sparkling wines, including Prosecco, Ayala Champagne, and Nyetimber English Sparkling Wine (including Nyeimber Brut and Brut Rosé).
