Here is a winery that is backed by both entrepreneurial spirit and innovation yet delivering tradition and respect for the environment.

A dream born from the earth” is one of their motto’s and it is clear to see from your initial visit as the main winery constructed in 2011/12 blends in secretly within the scenery with its construction in to the hills with vines growing above it.

Here is a Superiore Prosecco label which launched in 2013 and is looking to deliver the highest standards to the industry both from their wines and the tourism via their holiday rental property. 2Castelli currently offer three DOCG labels that are Brut, Extra Dry and Dry Millesimato. The vacation home is the original wine owners property having been totally renovated to an extremely high standard with a wonderful outside pool offering stunning views – An ideal rental property for groups of people or team building for corporate.

It is quite understandable for anyone to fall in love with the wine region of Prosecco and especially the Conegliano Valdobbiadene sector so it is no surprise that the current owners were tempted to purchase this estate following building a successful business in the packaging industry. Currently, daughters Valentina and Alessandra are involved in the running of the business and promotion of their winery bringing with them years of business experience and a secure vision for the business moving forward.

Without doubt their focus is delivering quality and yet giving back also to nature with respectful wine producing methods. They are also keen to allow people to enjoy the region and its traditions and adding to the local tourism market with not only its vacation home, but by also organising tastings and dinners all aimed at welcoming and introducing the region to more and more people keen to learn.

The estate is 10 hectares in size of which there are 7 hectares of vines, they produce 100,000 bottles annually of which 80,000 is Prosecco Superiore. The brand is new and it feels young and refreshing and certainly a place you want to stick around and enjoy special relaxing moments, once again another fantastic swimming pool that I wish I had tested out.

What was once a winery that simply sold off its grapes to larger producers is now a new Prosecco Superiore label and offering the world of wine a warm welcoming and desirable place to enjoy fine wines and views.
