Sad News as Charles Doyard Champagne Maker Dies

Just a very quick piece of sad breaking news that Charles Doyard passed away very recently at such a young age of 31. I had many a fine glass of Champagne served by Charles himself at varied tasting events of recent years and I once also interviewed him for the Glass of Bubbly magazine. He was passionate about his wines and seeing the expression on peoples faces when tasting them, he was focused on producing fine Champagne and making a positive impact within the industry.
