English Sparkling Wines you may not have heard of

English sparkling wines have started making serious waves in the sparkling wine industry. You may have heard of Nyetimber, Ridgeview, Chapel Down, Camel Valley, Hush Heath, Gusbourne, Coates & Seely, Balfour Estate, Hambledon and others that have become fairly well-known.
With English sparkling wine’s rising popularity and high quality, even the French want a piece of the action! We hope you’ve had the chance to try some already – if not, put it on your ‘to do’ list.
There are many other fantastic English sparklers making a name for themselves, so keep an eye out for these:
Bolney Wine Estate – West Sussex
One of the longest established English vineyards, Bolney have been making award-winning English wines for over 35 years.
Brightwell – Oxfordshire
The 14-acre in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and produces award-winning sparkling wines.
Exton Park –Hampshire
A relatively new vineyard, set on the slopes of the wide rolling chalklands at the heart of Hampshire already winning awards for their sparkling wine.
Giffords Hall – Suffolk
A family run estate, Giffords Hall Sparkling Brut is a soft fruity sparkling, from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes.
Greyfriars – Surrey
Their award winning sparkling wines include 2013 Rosé Reserve which is reminiscent of a rosé from Provence with hints of vanilla and Summer fruits and fresh fruity berries.
Hattingley Valley – Hampshire
Hattingley Valley believe they are currently the largest contract maker of Sparkling Wine in England. The team prides itself in the quality of its work and outstanding end product.
Henners – East Sussex
An example of the finest quality in English sparkling wine, Henners wines are crafted with attention to detail and passion.
Herbert Hall – Kent
Definitely one of England’s best sparkling wines.
Hoffmann & Rathbone – Sussex
The Hoffmann & Rathbone ethos is that the perfect sparkling wine cannot be rushed and love and precision are essential in equal measures. Each beautifully decorated bottle is individually numbered and hand-packed in tissue paper.
Jenkyn Place – Hampshire
A boutique, family-owned estate producing award-winning English sparkling with a distinctive English character.
Knightor – Cornwall
