British Oscar Nominees Enjoy Ridgeview English Sparkling Wine

Ridgeview English sparkling wine was served at Friday night’s ‘Film is GREAT’ Reception for the British Oscar nominees held at the Fig and Olive in West Hollywood, Los Angeles.
The event was held on behalf of UK Trade & Investment USA (UKTI) to honour British contributions to film and the creative industries. Co-hosted by British Consul General Chris O’Connor OBE and Academy Award® Winner Eddie Redmayne OBE, with master of ceremonies James Corden OBE and music by Jamie Cullum, the reception provided a brilliant kick-off to Hollywood’s most exciting weekend of the year.
The Consul General thanked Ridgeview for sharing its “fabulous sparkling wine,” which accompanied a menu prepared by chef Gordon Ramsey OBE.
“As a British company with a global outlook, we are proud of the achievements of both the British entertainment industry and the English wine industry, so it was a natural choice for us to support this initiative to recognise great British talent,” said Ridgeview’s CEO Tamara Roberts. “As we have now established our distribution on the East Coast of the USA and look to expand to the West Coast, I can think of no better occasion in which to introduce Ridgeview wines to Los Angeles.”
