A Visit to Martignago Cantina Sant’Andrea from Asolo DOCG Prosecco
18th October 2017
In the small town of Maser that is located at the foot of the Asolo hills, you will find Martignago Cantina Sant’Andrea winery. A family grower with a long history of growing vines in the region that currently offers a selection of nine wines with a range of Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The family currently own and manage 8 hectares of vineyards that most are dedicated to the Glera grape which is the main ingredient in the making of Prosecco, importantly they grow vines within the highly rated Asolo DOCG region.
There is a consistent taste throughout their sparkling range with a great expression of the terroir of this region that gives a good firm structure and minerality, ideal for those looking for a crisp and refreshing Prosecco and something which pairs well with varied foods.
“As a business, we oversee the entire production chain, from grapes to bottling and we are proud to be a part of the FIVI family, the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers.”
