Congratulations to Montelliana with their Montelliana Prosecco DOC Treviso extra dry which received a bronze medal at The World’s Finest Glass of Bubbly awards 2017.

A panel of 36 top industry wine judges tasted all the entries for 2017 and were able to not only scores wines with medals, but also place them in to easy to understand categories such as Summer Days: “Does not have to be a highly complicated wine. Will offer a light, fruity and easy going taste.

The Prosecco region has some wonderful areas that grow the Glera grape along with some fabulous producers. Montello and Asolo Hills is an area that embraces a lot of history and traditions. In the heart of the Trevisan area, ideal soil and climate for white wines sparkling grape production. Cantina Montelliana lies in the foothills of the area stretching from the Montello to the Asolo Hill area and is in the heart of the Trevisan March, an area with ideal soil and climate for wine grape production.

Sparkling wine made according to natural fermentation Charmat method. Produced with grapes cultivated in the Trevigiano hill area. Pale straw-yellow colour, typical fruity bouquet and taste, pleasant and slightly sweet. Ideal for desserts. Serve at 6-7 °C.
