Chianti producer Piccini launches sparkling wine

The Piccini family are fourth generation wine producers based in the Chianti region, of Italy, they have branched out with a sparkling wine called Piccini 1882, this spumante is made with a blend of Glera grapes, (used in Prosecco) and Chardonnay.

This is an fresh, easy drinking sparkling wine with delicate citrus fruit and floral notes. It can be enjoyed on its own or pair with a plate of antipasti, fresh grilled fish or a chicken salad.
