Prosecco Wins as UK’s No.1 Bubbly on New Year’s Eve

Prosecco is still the UK’s number one bubbly as sales on New Year’s Eve topped all other sparkling wines, including Champagne.
According to data from Epos Now, between New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in a study across 800 UK pubs, Prosecco accounted for 18% of drinks sales. Champagne was not far behind at 17%.
Together, Prosecco and Champagne accounted for 35% of drinks sales. It seems we still love to ring in the New Year with a glass of bubbly!
